Boat builder, 93, leaves his mark around Homer.

This is the type of story I love to come across on the internet. Norman (Dick) Griffin from HOMER, Alaska will be turning 93 this month and has built 40+ boats over the last 30yrs. Most of the boats have been traded or given away which is a fantastic thing to do. Read his story here.

I can only imagine building that many boats, I’ve often thought about how cool it would be to work for myself building boats. After finishing my first wooden boat (you can see my boat here: Sailboat Plans) I’m very close to planning my second, if I’m allowed that is.
