Wooden Boat Building Epoxy

Epoxy

Choosing the right epoxy is a crucial decision as it has a major impact on a wooden boat build. If you are a beginner boat builder you should look for an epoxy with a medium to slow cure time, the last thing you need is epoxy curing in your hand before you can get it on the boat. A medium to slow epoxy can give more time to get things right which will reduce the effort required when finishing etc. Temperature also plays in a big part as the hotter it is the quicker it will cure. You can find some more detail on epoxy over at Sailboat Plans.
